I visited with my mum as a much-needed pick-me-up, and from the outset, the experience felt effortless. This sea-view spa setting is truly special – overlooking the Firth of Clyde with views stretching toward the Isle of Arran, it immediately creates a sense of escape. The combination of sea air and thoughtfully designed spaces sets the tone for a slower pace, where it’s easy to switch off and just enjoy.
With this spa, you don’t feel confined, in fact it’s just the opposite. The strong connection to the outdoors makes the experience feel even more refreshing and unique compared to a typical spa day. You can choose from a large hydro pool, sauna with views across to the Ailsa Craig, outdoor experience showers, sheltered fire pit, as well as direct beach access from the spa garden.
Go with the Flow
What stands out is how effortlessly everything flows. There’s no clock-watching, no awkward transitions – just a gentle rhythm that moves you from one calming moment to the next. Whether that’s unwinding in the thermal areas like the steam room, or simply pausing to take in the coastal scenery, there’s a strong sense that this spa understands exactly what its guests need, often before they do.
A true highlight for me was the massage. It was genuinely one of the best I’ve ever had – so soothing and immersive that I didn’t want it to end. I can honestly say it felt like pure heaven, the kind of treatment that leaves you completely switched off from the outside world.

Afterwards, we were treated to afternoon tea, which was the perfect way to round off the visit. With a selection of sandwiches, freshly baked scones, and beautifully presented cakes, it was just enough to justify loosening your robe belt.
What stood out most throughout the entire experience was the level of care. At every stage, we felt looked after – never rushed, never overlooked. It’s clear that every element has been designed with relaxation in mind. Staff guided us seamlessly from one stage to the next, always present but never intrusive. It’s a difficult balance to get right, but here it feels second nature.
To celebrate its opening, one lucky winner will enjoy a restore spa day for two, including use of spa facilities and two 25-minute treatments.
