Baby Sensory Classes Glasgow

As the nights draw in and the leaves crunch underfoot, even the littlest ghouls deserve a sprinkle of spooky magic. But while older kids roam the streets in search of sweets and scares, what about the babes-in-arms? That’s where Wee Glo Worms comes in: the West End’s glowing gem of a baby sensory experience, here to light up the season in the most enchanting way—literally.

Founded by Scottish educational professionals—and mums—Leona, Susan, and Karen, Wee Glo Worms was born from a shared passion for play-based learning and the belief that even the tiniest tots thrive on connection, stimulation, and joy. Each session begins with a relaxed welcome chat, giving parents and carers the chance to share the highs, lows, and unexpected hilarity of parenting life. Whether it’s a nap-time breakthrough or a snack-time disaster, this community-first approach helps build support networks that often extend well beyond the class itself.

Then…the magic begins.

Dun, dun, dun…

Multi-Sensory Magic

The lights dim, and the sensory effects come to life. Gentle glows, soft sparkles, and twinkling hues transform the space into a neon wonderland. Babies gaze wide-eyed as the star of the show—Wiggles the Glo Worm—awakens to guide them through a joyful, glowing adventure.

Alongside the class leader, Wiggles takes wee ones and their grown-ups on weekly adventures filled with movement, rhythm, and imagination. Each class weaves together diverse musical styles, spectacular storytelling, and glowing props to engage every sense. From soothing lullabies to toe-tapping disco beats, there’s always something new to spark curiosity.

Designed from babies to toddlerhood (generally 1-14month), Wee Glo worms combines developmental benefits with magical moments. Each session provides a stimulating, multi-sensory environment that encourages little ones to explore through sight, sound, touch, smell, and even taste — all in a safe, nurturing space. The experiences are thoughtfully curated to support early brain development, gently introducing little ones to cognitive challenges while also fostering deep connections through bonding with their caregivers.

Classes are booked in blocks and purposefully repeated on a 9–12-week cycle—partly because repetition is vital for learning and development, and partly to enable parents and caregivers to see the progression in their little ones.

Cuppa and a Chat

But it’s not just for the babies. Wee Glo Worms also holds space for adults, recognising that early parenthood can be both beautiful and overwhelming. Each class brings together parents and carers at a similar stage in their journey — creating opportunities to chat, vent, share advice, and offer support. There’s a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and always time at the end for a well-earned tea, coffee, and biscuit. Because sometimes, a little adult conversation and a custard cream go a long way!

“Come as you are—no pressure, no expectation. We’re here for you and your reality, whatever that may be. But you will definitely get the Insta pics to bring back core memories for years to come!” promises Leona.

Classes take place on Tuesday mornings in Hyndland Community Hall, with sessions running year-round, including most school holidays. Second adults and siblings are welcome, making it an inclusive, family-friendly space.
