Scottish Carol Service

Hue and Cry and Nathan Evans lend their voices in aid of an amazing cause

Nathan Evans and The Saint PHNX Band

Hue and Cry, Nathan Evans and The Saint PHNX Band will perform at the first ever Scottish Carol Service, in aid of music therapy charity Nordoff and Robbins.

With the stunning Kelvinside Hillhead Parish Church as a backdrop, the money raised will go towards delivering more music therapy sessions across Scotland. Music therapy can make an enormous difference to the lives of people with disabilities, life-limiting illness or those facing social isolation.

Changing Lives Through Music

Nordoff and Robbins have hosted a Carol Service in London since 1997. Through this annual service, hundreds of thousands of pounds are raised for music therapy services. These vital services have helped those dealing with Dementia, mental health issues, autism, to name a few. The charity provide music therapy UK-wide.

Now lending their considerable talents to the fundraising, are Hue and Cry. The Scottish duo have been making music together for over 40 years. With hits such as Labour of Love and Looking For Linda, they continue to write and perform live.

Nathan Evans and The Saint PHNX Band were awarded Artist of the Year at the recent GUITARGUITAR Scottish Music Awards at Barrowlands. Nathan rose to global stardom during the Covid19 pandemic. He kept our spirits alive up with his renditions of sea shanties, with a modern twist. He joined with brothers Alan and Stevie Jukes of The Saint PHNX Band, writing hits such as Heather on the Hill and Highland Girl. With huge live success, including at TRNSMT and a sold-out Hydro show back in October, the partnership is going from strength to strength.
