After 15 years of owning and building a well known local waste removal brand and taking that business as far as he felt it could go in it’s existing format, Ross Martin feeling ready for a new challenge, left the business and set up Jettison Ltd as an entirely new enterprise.
Despite opening up just six months before the first lock down, Jettison – focused on commercial and industrial waste clearances – got off to a flying start with projects including stripping out the closed Thorntons stores across the UK and clearing the entire campus of Penrith Agricultural College.
Jettison’s focus is large scale clearances which include fly tipping removal and clearing out full buildings including offices, hotels and industrial units. These jobs are project managed by Ross from start to finish to ensure minimal disruption for clients, maximum value for money and that as much waste as possible is repurposed or recycled.
Ross particularly loves the challenges and problem solving involved in these projects and always finds the right solution for the client no matter the constraints of the job.
With this side of things thriving and with so many established contacts from his previous business getting in touch, it soon became clear that there was still a demand for reliable and trustworthy smaller scale local uplifts.
