Hogmanay in the West End

Westend NYE

New Year’s Eve, or for us fellow scots, Hogmanay, is a celebratory occasion that we all cherish and love dearly. The origins of Hogmanay can be dated all the way back to the Viking era, where they would celebrate the winter solstice with wild parties at the latter end of December. Nowadays, however, Hogmanay is a chance for everyone to look back at the year they’ve had, whether it was good or bad they can reflect and celebrate just how far they have come. As they brace themselves for another whole year of mystery. Let’s not forget that we can also celebrate with wild parties just like our predecessors.
