Kitchenetta, The Clydeside Distillery
There are but few marriages made in heaven. However, Kitchenetta taking over the food service at The Clydeside Cafe may just be the latest divine pairing!

Based in the iconic Pumphouse at the old Queen’s Dock – revitalised after a multi-million pound investment to host The Clydeside Distillery – Kitchenetta, is as always, about the food and its provenance.

‘The biggest sellers are the sharing platters,’ explains Jenny. ‘Though it’s hard to say if the seafood or charcuterie and cheese boards are top! We source our bacon and gammon from Ramsey’s of Carluke and fish from John Vallance at Glasgow’s fishmarket. Regulars from our days in Hyndland pop in for lunch and a chat alongside our overseas tourists, and everyone enjoys the platters, which can be enjoyed alongside a Whisky Flight. Well, we are based in a distillery.’

With a small range of starters, which include the delicious and comforting Cullen Skink, and a beautifully curated range of sandwiches, or toasted sourdough sandwiches – the range is perfectly centred around excellent local produce, including Partick’s famous Brawsome Bagels filled with smoked salmon, peppered cream cheese, house pickled red onion and capers.

And being located on National Route 7s shared walking and cycle route means there’s  a friendly greeting, plus West End famous brownies, at the end of your exertions!

Pop in for a coffee and brownie with Jenny, Hannah (home page) and the Kitchenetta team @ The Clydeside Cafe – open 7 days.
