Kiltwalk For Calum’s Cabin

Kiltwalk for Calum’s Cabin, raising funds for an incredible cause.

kiltwalk Calum's Cabin

Calum’s Cabin is an amazing charity which supports the families of children who are suffering from cancer or cancer related illnesses. The charity provides holiday homes to families for some much needed R and R and a chance to make lasting memories whilst spending quality time together. There are also 9 flats in Glasgow which provide accommodation for families whilst their children are receiving long term treatment within the Glasgow Children’s Hospitals. At such an enormously stressful period, then at least families can have a comfortable home from home.

The Kiltwalk

Every year The Kiltwalk holds fundraising events throughout Scotland. With one in Glasgow, here’s your change to make a difference. A hugely fun event, why not consider participating to fundraise for Calum’s Cabin? The annual Kiltwalk is a fun family day out where fitness, family, friends and fundraising come together. There are several courses available for the Glasgow Kiltwalk: the Wee Wander at 3.1 miles, the Big Stride at 14.3 miles and the Mighty Stride at a hefty 22.7 mile course.

By walking on behalf of Calum’s Cabin the charity will give you access to their private Facebook and What’s App groups for support, motivation and top tips. You’ll also be able to access the Kiltwalk app where you can track your training, personal goals and reward badges.

With times being hard, registration for the Glasgow Kiltwalk has been significantly reduced to encourage as many walkers as possible. The funds you raise go directly to the charity. That’s almost 700 charities last year who benefited from a fundraising total of £4 million. In addition in 2023, the Kiltwalk will ensure all eligible Gift Aid will also go directly to Calum’s Cabin.

There seems no more worthy a cause for a stretch of the legs than to fundraise; even more so to fundraise for an incredible charity like Calum’s Cabin.
