My official start day as Director of the Great Western Road salon was Sunday 28th June and it’s been incredibly busy so far, but I am loving every minute of it!
We have made a couple of exciting changes at the Great Western Road salon and I am delighted to share these with you all. We are now open seven days a week instead of five and are open late night on a Thursday until 8.15pm.
We’ve also launched early bird appointments where, upon request, you can book in an appointment at the salon from 8.15am. This allows us to be more available for clients and is perfect for clients who may want to squeeze in a hair appointment on their way to work.
All stylists from our Great Western Road salon have committed to doing a year’s educational training with our Rainbow Room International Creative Director and 3 times Scottish Hairdresser of the Year winner, Suzie McGill, based at the Rainbow Room International Uddingston salon. The one-year training programme was created for anyone interested in being involved with session styling and creative hairdressing work and we’re delighted all of our girls were interested in the opportunity to educate themselves further. It will also allow them to bring more exciting creative ideas back to the salon to share with you all and help inspire you during your next appointment.
